My name is Jordan Briskey I’m from Holmen, Wisconsin and I am currently a student at the Western Wisconsin Technical College. When I was ending 8th grade and going into my freshman year at Holmen High School. In 2016 I had an Idea to honor and remember our Vietnam Veterans from the state of Wisconsin especially the ones who were killed in action. I believe honoring and remembering our Vietnam Veterans is very important because when they came back home. They received disrespect and were not thanked for their service or for their sacrifices.

In this memorial it will tell the stories that Vietnam Veterans have told me and hopefully be carried through many generations. Also in this memorial it will have a wall with the names who were killed in action from the state of Wisconsin.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held on Tuesday, May 25th, 2021 at 12:00pm.
