Meeting with Veterans is ALWAYS an Honor

Jordan has had the opportunity to meet with several veterans over the last few months.

Irwin Shattuck served on the DE1041 USS Bradley and he did two tours in Vietnam.

Jordan and Irwin Shattuck with the Flyer is a Vietnam Veteran that served on the DE1041 USS Bradley and he did two tours in Vietnam.

Mike Duncan served 4 years (1 in the Marines and 3 in the Navy).

Mike presented Jordan with a small flag given to Mike when he went to Vietnam by his father as a good luck charm. Mike’s father told him to “REMEMBER WHAT YOUR FIGHTING FOR”.

This photo was taken after Mike gave Jordan the flag that was on a River Boat Patrol from Vietnam.

It has some stains so it is authentic. This was a powerful statement showing how much these veterans appreciate what Jordan is doing.

Jordan was honored by these gifts that have such a meaning to these Veterans.

Wisconsin Vietnam War Memorial

Memorial to be built in Veterans Freedom Park, La Crosse, WI in 2020 to honor and remember our soldiers and families.
